Carla Pauline Riggle, age 58 of Purcell, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022, following a courageous battle with cancer. Carla was born August 2, 1963 in Purcell, OK, the older of two children born to Robert Edward Riggle Sr. and Patricia Ann (Shea) Logan. She was raised in Purcell, where she attended school, and later she went on to study Dietary Management at Francis Tuttle Technology Center. She worked for Wadley’s Nursing Home for a number of years, and more recently at Ruby’s as a waitress and receptionist. Carla had a knack for gardening, both flowers and vegetables. She could grow absolutely anything, and was said to have a green thumb. She had recently found her love for fur animals, and would take in any stray with open arms. In spite of her struggles, Carla remained determined and strong until the very end. She will be dearly missed!
She was preceded in death by: her son, Sammy Laney; mother, Patricia Logan and husband Leonard; father, Robert Riggle Sr. and wife Nettie, and brother, George Reeves.
Carla is survived by: her daughters Candice Laney of Purcell and Olivia McDonald of Noble; brother, Bobby Riggle of Sayre; step sisters, Tammy Kaye Allen and Claudette Brumit of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Dakota and Isaiah, Cynthia, Jewell and Bobbie, Easton and Leslie, and one more on the way, as well as a host of other family and friends.
