Wilhelmina Boydstun December 5, 1934 - November 25, 2018

Wilhelmina Boydstun was born December 5, 1934, in Butler, OK.  She passed from this life on November 25, 2018, just days before her 84th birthday.  Wilhelmina was the daughter of Charlie and Rosina Mohling.  She had five siblings; Charlie Mohling, Lester Mohling, Stella Benear, Darlene Elrod, and Verna Marie Simmons.  Wilhelmina married Duane Boydstun on July 7, 1961.  The story is told that Duane only had to ask three times before she said yes to his marriage proposal.  They went on to share almost 24 years of marriage before Duane passed away in 1985.  They had three children Carol, Kevin, and Christy. She was proceeded in death by her parents Charlie and Rosina Mohling, her husband Duane Boydstun, her siblings and their spouses; Roy and Stella Benear, Jim and Darlene Elrod, Lester and Dorothy Mohling.  She is survived by her siblings Charlie and Mildred Mohling of Huntsville, Alabama and Verna Marie and Roy Simmons of Oklahoma City, OK, her children and their spouses; Carol and Scott Roley, Kevin and Michelle Boydstun and Christy and Chad Byrd.  She was the loving grandmother to Leah Roley, Jordan Boydstun, Joshua Boydstun, Kyra Boydstun, Jennifer Byrd, Emily Byrd, Tyler Byrd and great-grandmother to Cypress Cardone.  Wilhelmina Boydstun left a legacy of love for her family and friends.  Her sweet spirit, faith, and generosity were felt by all who knew and loved her.  She was her grandchildrens biggest fan and was present for every ballgame, choir concert, awards assembly, and school or church event.  She was a loving friend to many in need.  Although she will be greatly missed, her family is comforted that she is reunited with her loved ones in heaven and enjoying the greatest homecoming of all.  Funeral services will be held at McMahans Funeral home in Noble, OK on Wednesday, November 28 at 10:00 am.  Interment service will follow at 1:00 pm at Jones IOOF Cemetery in Jones, OK. Viewing will be at McMahans Funeral Home Tuesday, November 27 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Noble Assembly of God, Missions Fund at 100 W Post Oak Rd, Noble Oklahoma 73068.
